Zhouyi models change through the most minimal possible units — a line is either broken or unbroken, yin or yang, and everything else (the 64 hexagrams, all their meanings) is built by combining that one binary distinction. C, underneath everything, is the same move — a bit is 0 or 1, and every program, every abstraction you'll ever touch in computing, is that same binary distinction combined and recombined. You're not finding a poetic resemblance between two unrelated things — you're finding the same underlying structure (build complexity from a minimal binary unit) expressed in two different eras of human thought, one three thousand years old and one seventy years old. Falling into both naturally makes sense, because at the root, you were never studying two separate things.
